So legal fags are good quality but illegal ones can be bad. Have you got any ideas how bad quality other drugs could be replaced with good quality ones?

Ha no, I was talking about the smell and taste being really bad so they end up in the bin. I don't think there can be any good ingredients in cigs, although I presume there are some controls and regulations about what can and can't go into legal cigs (yeah I've read of the nasties that they contain) compared to ones made on the floor in a Chinese warehouse.

It would be better with machine guns.

Oh it will have guns, and it can use the stairs too. :)

I'm not into the making all drugs legal, I wouldn't want my kids having easy access to spice or meth etc. You can pour as much money as you like into education and parenting but teenage kids have it in their genes to experiment no matter how good their parents are.How many drug users started in their 30's/40's I guess not many compared to how many did in their teens.

If it's legal then it's way easier to get hold of and experiment with. Smoking ban, not sure, if it was banned for everyone from tomorrow I would pack in straight away. It would be far too much hassle to get them from a street corner and I think we have all (smokers) witnessed some dodgy fake baccy too know it's certainly not worth it!

  4. For some reason I have never thought about how I move a chain when sharpening.

If i over think it I will fck it up, so I will try to make a conscious, unconcise effort to find out what I do!

Im hedging my bets that I sharpen a tooth then move it forward, but I can also see myself thinking that is a waste of effort and just drag it back on the last stroke.

Hit the like if you want to follow and give me a shout in the subs.

Any way , a recent study has concluded that electric vehicle now pollute considerably  more than the equivalent  petrol powered vehicle . Because they weigh more  their tiers and brakes wear out quicker releasing higher toxic particles than those that come out of a petrol engine tail pipe . I still think Hydrogen is the way forward . I believe Toyota have produced an engine that runs on liquid hydrogen in the same way a petrol engine does in as much as you just fill the tank like you would petrol and of course the only thing that comes out of the exhaust is H2O .

I read more or less the exact opposite TBH.

Something to do with how they brake they actually have less wear on the brakes and tires.

Btw I still drive an ice car so I'm not arguing for ev's but I wouldn't mind one of them hydrogen ones!

I can't really winge about the process of mining lithium cobalt etc, although it is fookin brutal as I use that tech everyday as I presume most of us do. I remember my first mobile phone used two AA batteries and latest for about a week,  those were the days. 😄

  6. IIRC Sweden was on the track to be the first country to go cashless, they were pushing for it.

IMO going cashless is way easier for the consumer but it just puts more money into the pockets of others ie Mr visa and Mr mastercard therefore taking money from consumers and merchants.

The Australians had been supplying cardboard drones, think they were like 2k each.

Which seemed a bit expensive as that's without any of the electronics.

Those Aussies are bleedin cheeky buggers.

Zelensky must have been gutted when he saw this printed on his Kamakazi attack drones.

Unfortunately the yoof of today who seem to obsessively follow and stress about world events.

You need to know enough about the world but also know what you can and cannot change. You didn't see the general population running around during WW2 or the cold war, it's Fear Porn and people get addicted to it.

I think that you maybe getting most of that info from Facebook. I don't see the yoof obsessively following and stressing about world events. They are still hanging around the local off licence/chippy/corner shop, watching YouTube, playing football, Fortnite, giving the girls a bit of grief to try and get into their knickers and if your a gypo out doing a bit of grabbing.

I think that you would have seen most of the population running around and thinking WTAF is going on during ww2.

I feel like firing up the Xbox for a game of COD, I'm somewhat scared if I show my skills it'll pop up with a warning to report for duty at the local TA.

There was a movie back in the 80's along those lines. Space invader slot machines looking for the highest scorer. Dunno what it was called like.

Trumps big plan imo, is to pull out of NATO and stop all funding to Ukraine. Putin nukes a remote part of Ukraine, NATO shts their pants and Ukraine surrenders. Probably over within an hour nevermind 24. I doubt that he is going to threaten Putin into giving up.

They said on the news some General thought we should have military training as standard in the population ready for a call up scenario, then they asked people on the streets of somewhere what they thought.

A youth with floppy hair and strange fitting trousers said he thought it'd be fine as he'd played plenty of Call of Duty, even listed off all the weapons he had experience using.

    Anybody else?

I remember how to use the weapon systems on a gunship. X and L1 is lots of little bullets, R2 is big mortar type things that kaboom russian tank.

I've even completed a SF mission alone in Pripyat, Chernobyl.

    We'll be ready.

Floppy haired muppet aside, I hope that you aren't dissing COD!

Although I'm more of a counter strike man myself.

Imagine just for one minute what the aftermath would look like. Benefits street "I can't work because of my nerves" would be the only living survivors.

I think that its best to go down with the ship :)

  11. With all this talk from the top brass around the world urging us to be prepared for some kind of Russian conflict I was thinking narr, they just want to justify the big budgets that they are asking for.

But after seeing this I'm not so sure

A UK-US joint operation, there are 2 elections  coming up remember.

Do you think it makes much of a difference to the voters? I wouldn't have thought that it does tbh.

Surely it doesn't matter who's in power, these decisions about war probably have feck all to do them.
