I think in the picture of him he is telling the two guys how to maintain a guidebar judging by that crappy cut!!
-
No!
What could the Northern monkeys teach us that we Southerners dont already know!!
-
and also to look professional you should also be using an orange saw
-
I'd of cut it here.

im guessin the mewp was at full mast haha:sneaky2:
-
i'd have felled it too!!!! all that fannying around - wasting firewood!!
-
I've just got the treeflex and currently having the crushed nut problem mentioned above.
Hopefully a bit more time playing with it will sort it out.
HA HA try playing with the harness too
-
Great site. Addictive though?
Yeah its like an Arborist Sausage Fest haha:sneaky2:
-
sorry to piss on your fire mate:001_tongue:
-
If i owned a MEWP I really wouldnt want to be hiring it out...people dont respect hired out kit and also the maintenance would be ghastly!!
-
Nooooooo.............dont do it!!!! MEWPS are really cheap to hire here in essex, if there is a tree that is too dangerous to climb i hire the right MEWP for the right situation, still prefer the good old 13mm of rope all the way!!
-
Yeah, i have a 36ft ladder, a great bit of kit, mainly used for access but great for large conifers and also (when tied) to nip off a quick limb, rather than get a high tie in point and limb walk....always attached to the tree when cutting though
-
If your modding the fuel tank for more running time wont the oil tank need the same treatment,i find 020's oil tanks nearly run dry on a normal size tank full of fuel.
Haha thats a good point.....some1 was about to make a schoolboy error haha
-
another nice vid, so you favour a guttsier husky over a robust stihl, interesting:scared1:
Robust.....and Stihl....haha havnt heard that said since the good old days of the 020:confused1:
-
could practice a few 'Dog tooth' cuts on those beauties:001_tt1:
-
Spikes, ladders and top of ladder roped, what a whimp
Haha and probably a scarf and hand in case he gets cold haha:001_tongue:
-
nice vid mate, you have made my mind up, im gonna get a 390 and outing the 66!!!! sounds a treat:001_tt1:
-
my ex girlfriend used to nick all the plasters from my first aid kit for her bloody feet when wearing heels!!
-
the bloody starter cord keeps breaking on my Silky - how can i ever become a pro:confused1:
-
haha i climb with a first aid kit, my groundie always fills the bloody thing up with condoms though!! Safe climbing i suppose, i also think it could be a good idea to have one on the rope bag too, esp for those of you who dont take one in the tree with you...and as for climbing with a silky only, i hope you have a tube of Savlon on a biner to hand hahahaha
-
i've never had one of those, but i think my grandad did, he always had his arm in a sling after trying to start the bloody thing haha
-
i had a 357 once and spent most of my time also with my feet up...........................waiting for parts:001_tongue:
You wanna learn how to look after a saw then fella...or send the orange ones to me:001_tt1:
-
Well I had my power ported 372 up there, so you can stick your 357 in your pipe and smoke it:001_tongue:
HAHA like ya style old boy!!
-
looks like he's cranking a warm 357 to me,that makes anyone's arse hang out!
If he had my 357 the stump would have already been down and he coulda been at home with his feet up:001_tongue:
-
