  1. Well said Peter, being a hero doesn't help in later life.
  2. I hear you lot cried out in pain when we hoofed your lot back over t'other side o t'hill
  3. Yorkshiremen don't need pain killers, we're hard as nails
  4. With anything Mike, the more you spend on one the better one you get, go for semi pro and depending on who's using it you can weld just as good with a mig as a small stick, plus it's easier to do inverted and vertical welds. Even for spot welding you need gas, the weld will just be porous if not. Highly recomend mig, it's very controllable
  5. It took me 15 minutes to position the mewp for five trees in one go. It would take you 20 minutes to get your kit into the tree after you have rooted through all your bags. I was subbied in, the decision to use a mewp as opposed to climbing was not my decision. They obviously had their reasons
  6. Brilliant Charlie, all the info and more Many thanks
  7. I don't drink very much Bob, probably drink less than 10 pints per year. Saying that, I polished of a bottle of port to myself thinking it was wine and was the last one to leave, all the "hardened" drinkers turned out to be wusses. Boy was I poorly the morning after though, I had had the port, about six glasses of wine and started on bottles of lager. I seem to get so far and then sober up and that's a non drinker
  8. Wicked tune Reg I have yet to see a smoother operator than yourself mate, either that or you are good at editing Top man
  9. You can bring me one when you attend our "Tree Surgeons Xmas do" being arranged as we speak. It's looking like an Italian meal then get drunk, you interested Bob?
  10. Mines never let me down yet. But that's because I have replaced everything.
  11. Got it from Saw and Tool in Huddersfield a Stihl EDT7 which was £80. Very accurate and stable, I've tried others which gave readings all over the place. This gives consistent readings
  12. Well that's a double fishermans on the crab
  13. That'll be a naughty chair Peter, not allowed steps for H&S reasons, too many were made to sit outside on the step and there was a huge increase in the reported cases of piles
  14. Cheers for that, if you find your list let us know. I've just clocked the 200t at 15,650. Being able to get idle spot on will be nice, I've always gone by clutch chatter
  15. Does anyone have any links to where I find the no load max rpm settings for all stihls. Tacho has arrived and I want a play but can't seem to find the specs anywhere.
  16. Hard to tell the size without a reference for scale, so I have sorted that for you and asked my stick brother to stand by it. Now you can see it is collosal
  17. Mrs Lofthouse is used to good looking women hitting on me, being such a hunk an all.........not
  18. No excuses, get a claim in. I really am not the type to claim and hate the claim culture, but that is when they deserve it, utter stupidity IMO.
  19. Wow, look at that fence with a Tree growing out of it Sorry Tony What cracking pics to add to the album
  20. Oh it is, I was in stitches just listening to my mates wasp encounter story, very similar to yours. So funny when your not on the receiving end
