I was looking at that, they call it a "mid torque", obviously not as powerful at the bigger half inch drive, but more compact for awkward spots?

Is it powerful enough for van wheelnuts and the like?

Max torque vis 770 ish tightening and 881 undo I think, works on coach and double decker wheels which is 560,

The m12 right angle impact wrench is handy on the right job but rarely sufficient if working on heavy gear. I can’t see the attraction of a battery ratchet over a right angle impact wrench personally, unless working on cars maybe. Just naff all torque but handy to save wrist cramp once it’s loosened.

Sounds more like she needs the 3/4” gun plus some decent sockets and impact UJ?

She's just brought lifetime impact sockets and impact uj, this gun kicks arse very impressed fits in awkward spaces too.

I was blown away when I bought that. It easily handled bolts that I'd have to switch to the 3/4" for with the Makita guns. I'd say Milwaukee are currently around 40% better than Makita for impact kit, like for like (comparing only top end models). Same with grinders. I've almost entirely switched.

What else were you thinking of getting? The M12 system has some nifty kit, but certain things you'll want to stick with M18 for.

I was thinking of changing all my drills, grinders etc with this kit slowly all 18v as I'm more on the carpentry side of things. , my other half she's doing a apprenticeship on big vechicals lorries, buses etc .  So for her 12v ratchet looks ideal for smaller spaces loads to choose from tho. My kit is DeWalt at the moment which has done me proud but getting on a bit now, so looking for a change.

Thought I wrote something lol, half inch drive, max torque is 880nm 4 speeds which are different torque settings.  Brought it for my other half but we use it on our vehicles. Amazing bit of kit.  Charger can fit 12v-18v batteries in so looking at the other kit too.

There are plenty of members on AT from across the globe, so what are you paying atm for gas and electricity?

UK is capped at the following

    Gas 10.33p per kwh

    Electricity 34.04p per kwh.

36.83 for electric no gas, been waiting for 2 weeks for them to change my meter as I'm not on economy 7 any more

I have cracks on the inner walls of my cottage, (see photo, they are where the air vent and the window is internally) The apricot tree is about 12 feet from the outer wall and is about 35ft high?

I have heard this tree is invasive but is it close enough to the house and also big enought to have caused the damage to this stone cottage If so, is it possible to prune it this summer or should it be done in winter? Many thanks,

Personally I wouldn't say it's the tree, looks like there is cracking on the outside wall vent to window and the base of the cottage doesn't look to great either. Maybe get someone in to check foundations.364992286_apricot-tree.thumb.jpg.645afdade771e79d66663b7a0a8ded842.jpg.0dd9a9a009bb2c2351291d9c04a5302d.jpg

At risk of going off topic - a mate’s dad when I was growing up was a joiner doing bespoke windows, staircases etc. He had a saying about “it’s worse than being in prison” for anywhere he went that the people didn’t offer him a drink - the implication being than even in clink you get a cuppa. If no drinks on the first day he used to take a flask and stick some extra on the bill!!

Yeh, it very much depends on what you're wanting out of a Forum.

If you want to browse, comment and post pics in threads the App was perfect.

Not a fan of having to go to a web browser and go to the forum on my phone at all.

Its generally the older generation that like to use websites I find.

Was about to add something ,but Steve beat me to it.

That’s a shame. I use Tapatalk for al the forums that I’m on and it works very well   It’s much slicker than any web based format that I’ve seen, and makes really good use of space on a small screen. It will definitely mean that I visit Arbtalk less often.

Have you tried the new format?, Tappatalk is... simply put shite. Also depends what you want out of the forum .
