  1. wouldnt try to put you off going mate....capel is one of my favourite shows....but its very small in comparison to the AA trade fair....you can walk round it in half an hour.......thought you should know as it a long way to go for you
  2. thats the colleges fault for hiding the truth.....dont blame the companies!
  3. damm you tony, now i have to come up with a fresh excuse for my tardiness
  4. it is a good idea, and something i have planned...just undecided on the format at the moment.
  5. what peter said. shorten the legs. best to have it slightly sticky at first. once you get use to the knot you may decide to sacrifice a little bit of that security and run it slightly looser.....not that anyone would recommend that!!
  6. you wont make money in firewood by paying guys £100 a day mate....sad but true unfortunately!
  7. i think the guy who designed it used to work at the premier factory or something...im sure someone will be along to set that story straight
  8. good for you mate.

it was expensive, but worth it occassionally

  9. never come across a bad copper yet....they have always been respectful. never been pulled over unduly, and when i have i hold my hand up.....except the one time when i asked him if he stopped me cos he wanted to buy the logs on the back. thats a good one to break the ice!
  10. i had over 2 years out of my last pair of stretch airs and they are in reasonable condition still....i wouldnt have bought a new pair if it werent for the fact i knew they would be going up due to the exchange rate
  11. call me dense...it cant be 15mph out throughout the whole range. what speed are you going where you estimate its 15mph out?
  12. If i put oversized tyres on my 4x4 im told its going to throw the speedometer out slightly.....but does this affect the mpg reading on the trip computer or is this calculated another way?
  13. hmmm i think £340 from memory at pcworld...that was over a month ago
  14. it actually does what it says on the tin also! most laptops never seem to last the time that the specs state, but the samsung does. i have it in my truck all the time and bring it in on the weekends to charge.
  15. did you take your teddy bear to the hospital with you?
  16. are the vauxhalls still being made? see precious few of them about. if i remember right the one i used to drive was on an L plate..unlikely its the same as the current isuzu pickup
  17. i used to drive one of those for a company i worked for. in fairness it never gave us any trouble at all....was reasonable off road though not exceptional...but most of all, the fuel economy was amazing!
