Hiring small chipper without plant hire insurance

Hi all does anyone know where I can hire a small chipper ( to get into rear garden ) without plant hire insurance? I've contacted orange and spectrum and they require plant hire insurance which is almost as much of the cost of the hire! Ideally in the Birmingham area. Hoping for a cs100 or could live with a tw75 or equivalent

You will be lucky to find any firm to hire you kit with no insurance for abvious reasons some firms will cover you under there's for a small fee.

Won't your insurer put hired in plant on for the value of the machine for a week? I've done that in the past, last time they didn't charge me maybe I was lucky and it was near renewal time!

I'm in employment full time, this is a sideline Job on the weekend so it's abit tricky as I don't have any insurance 😕

In that case I think you're pretty stuffed unless you have a mate with a suitable machine you can hire/borrow on a you break it you bought it arrangement.

Price I got was £200, and there is a slight lift up a wall about knee height which didn't bode well. Bit too much imo. All sorted now though thanks gents
