am i right in thinking the oregon chain was the 1.3 mm one? i didnt get on with it at all , it was so skatey and reluctant to bite.. pretty sure it was a special carving chain or something??

Spotted it at one stall. Looked exactly the same.

Max, because the handle is angled unlike the 150, when you clip it up by it it makes the bar nose point upwards towards your elbow.

Which hurts.

Oh well, still sounds like an excellent saw hey!

To be honest I'm not sure if the new saw is physically identical, or it was just a 2510 with a 2511 sticker on it.

I'd guess it is the saw, doubt they redesigned much apart from the exhaust system in the time since the recall as on top of the time to design they'd need to test other designs and retool the factory

Had a look at and a chat with the lads at Ariens (echo importers for the UK) at the APF on Saturday. Basically it is slightly wider due to some improvements with the cooling fins. Power, weight and other features are identical. Should be with us in the next week or so, initially just for the recalled saw customers, any additional stock will go to the first come first served pre order list.

Try clipping it at the part of the handle closest to the rear or the saw, I'll post a pic up in a bit.
