Yup.. it's gone pretty well. Until I got carb cleaner on a spot.. I've now got a two pack fuel resistant lacquer coming.. yup it's a dick of a project. Powder coat the next one I reckon.... I'll get some pics up in the week.

They look good, hope the final coat works for you! I read on the net somewhere that Ford gray tractor paint in the right colour and is also resistant to oil and fuel, not sure if that's just a US product though!

Powder coat will be fine, or you could hydro dip it!

Finally got the bits painted. Finished off with 3 coats of 2k epoxy clear coat. Looks nice. New pot and piston. Going the whole hog on this one
