Faded climbing helmet?

some helmets have a replace by date stamped on them if I remember correctly - it should be ok for 3 yrs I think - but as Stubby says is it fake

This is a brand exclusive to a local dealer. Its their own brand. If I'm honest it looks an exact copy of a kask plasma.

Also have spoken to dealer and they have assured me it passed all the tests, but I'm still worried, have they tried one with such bad uv fading? I had a 4 year old petzl helmet that unfortunately fell off the van 😁 but as far as I remember hadn't faded at all. Also this helmet keeps loosening itself off, is there any way of repairing it?

looks like dragon by buxtons they have stopped selling the helmets on there website i won one the other week and its a near on identical copy of the kask and stein ones

I don't think it's an imitation as such, they have said it has passed test etc but I'm going up later to hopefully exchange, I'm not happy with the quality, do I have a basis for an exchange?
