To be fair, I’d give the whole cabinet their P45 - they are directly responsible for 3 years spaffed up the wall.

Oct 31st it is then, do it or do one Boris!

Do you think, (not hope) he'll sort it by the 31st?

Yes I do - unless the spineless brigade set about intentionally obstructing it.

He will instal a team that actually have the gumption to do it rather than dick around talking about it whilst not actually having any intention of doing so.

It is the legal position that it will happen. So if he does nothing, 31 Oct weme out...

CornwallLive - a notoriously amateurish and inaccurate media source.

"A council spokesman said: “The trees, which were situated on private land, were being felled by the landowner, apparently due to highway safety concerns."

Seems plausible, there are not many woodland managers these days with a budget that will stretch to "tree surgery". We have winched in hundreds of roadside trees over the years, many only needed deadwooding, in a lot of cases there is not even the money to sned them out , pull them in and on to the next one.

Looks like the aftermath of a machine with shear / grab. CornwallLive are a dreadful local media outlet. Video looks more like hedgerow coppicing to me. There are a few comments on a local tree swingers page so might hear a more accurate account at some point.
