While I agree with the sentiment, I don't think euthanasia is the word you're looking for.
 

Euthanasia is an act of compassion.

As Mark says that's execution, as a teenager I was against it in principle but now I'm only against it in case mistakes happen.

I know the definition of both words. I'm just saying in my mind, to a person like that, it's an act of compassion whether they're aware or not. They're living in hell already, they just don't know it. 

 

I also don't agree with execution because of the possibility of failure. Otherwise I'm OK with it, for rare instances of pure evil, which I think this is.
