I could not punch my way out of a soggy paper bag nowadays so I kept out of it . I respect anyone's views on this emotive subject and like ( albeit from a keyboard  ) both the combatants for their knowledge and content . It is a bit uncomfortable listening to the grrrr . I hope they can bury the hatchet ( not in each other ) and move on .

Well, you could try this, it only needs string, k

This is horrible, sickening and sad in equal measure. Not sure if it's because I've got a young son myself but this one really got to me. Actually makes me shudder to think what that poor little lad went through. I can't even begin to comprehend how those two people could treat a defenceless child like that.

Thomas Hughes will serve 21 years and Emma Tustin a minimum of 29 for the killing and torture of his son.

I think I’ve almost wept three times when I read what happened to him. I’ve been feeling quite sad and angry thinking about it too. Can’t get it out of my head. I think it’s partially from having two wee ones and also being away from them for a coupe of weeks now.

I hope they both get shown plenty of love in Jail.

Same, it’s really got under my skin, can’t believe this shit keeps happening. I’m not big on revenge, but those two deserve everything that’s coming in prison

Im going to give it a miss too. I can't be dealing with stuff like that.

I see no reason whatsoever why we don't have a lethal injection for those crimes. There is no way that those people should be allowed to carry on enjoying the rest of their lives after committing a crime like that.

I would like to think that other prisoners will make sure the rest of their lives is lived in pain, fear and misery.
Horrendous scum.
I saw some government minister on TV last night trying to defend social services as usual.
And yet again I am sure no one will ultimately take the blame and face a criminal prosecution.

They surely will & will have to be looking over their shoulders every minute of every day, as the other prisoners will be treating them like the beasts they are! They will be begging for solitary confinement ... good enough for the scum!
