Steve thanks, that means a lot but I probably deserve any hate for the last few posts on this thread , and I'll be honest I'm not that bothered what folk think of me and never really have been , but have had a few life changing experiences over the last 5 months and some of them made extremely unpleasant by anti hunt mob towards my partner .. my anger should be directed at them who I know well and not some one who disagrees and sniggers at my not so eloquently and probably incoherent messages on an Internet forum when I'm trying to portray any valid reason on why I think trail hunting is not bad , I'm probably best off putting energy in to other things that are far more pressing at this time.. I am genuinely sorry if I have caused folk upset including particularly Kevin, so I'll stay off for a while and shut up on the matter.

Matty, I genuinely appreciate and greatly respect that. I didn’t want to fall out (with anyone) on a subject which generates high passion on many levels.

Time to move on from the so called "tradition" of hunting. Has no place in society and should be consigned to the history books. Nothing to do with pest control, never has been and never will be. Taking out the sick and injured, what a joke, no sport in that! Nice big healthy stag that will run for hours, that's the target. Watching the followers and the quad and motorbike mounted riders when they can sense a kill, is such intense blood lust that it's quite scary. Animal abuse, pure and simple.

There's a word for these kind of politics.

You know, when you resent what you haven't got or what you can't do and try and tell others how they should live because you've got a plan.

Simply asking what others have said: why talk when you don't know what you're saying. I'm not insulting his ignorance, am I?

You’re creating a Strawman Argument, simple as that. To claim those who are vehemently against a sport that gets its kicks from ripping an animal to pieces are only doing so out of jealousy or because in your opinion they are not in a position to join in is about as asinine as it gets.

You’re exposing your own ignorance and your posts insult everyone who has the misfortune to read them.

It's been banned since 2004.. now I don't know really about the rest of the country but I know my local hunt has no terriers , they are nearly all working class hill farmers who meet up because they have been great horsemen for generations and it's a good day out for them to meet up with friends

It's big of you to explain. I'll give a new thread a go but in pics as words seem to be unhelpful
