Nah, it seemed like you were in competition with Dempsey for who could rant the most.

I thought I could go on but you've proved  me wrong.

It’s quite a rare treat to get a pants down Dempsey rant these days, not like the Mountain man days!

And since Trigger appears to be on a sabbatical, thought I’d just make a minor contribution!

And this,  possibly a turning point  ( as there is far too many signatories to rubbish ...)

Signed by more than 1,000 parliamentarians, it calls for Israel to face "commensurate consequences".

K

I wonder how many of those >1000 signatories are citizens of nations than have, or still do, exercise sovereign power in overseas territories.

Glass houses and first stones comes to mind....

Are you a Stoky or a Vale flavour ??er?

Can you imagine the response if some bird decided that “Delilah” should be removed from every karaoke machine and banned from being sung by the Stokies because it glorifies domestic violence?

It’s beyond bloody pathetic.

And if everyone who believed that legalised racism, homophobia, slavery, sexual discrimination , disability discrimination etc took that attitude, rather than working to change the attitudes of others that "don't give a toss" and in doing so increase the momentum of positive change by sheer volume of numbers pushing against the old ways change would never come. Old ways and traditional behaviour stick around unless people push to change the minds of others.

What are you blathering about You clown?

All of that which you seem to have got your panties in a twist about ALREADY has its place in the legal framework.

That not good enough for you? You want “thought law” as well?

Bejebus.....

Stoke through n through, you can take the lad out of Stoke, but you can't take Stoke out of the lad. It is pathetic but if you try to push people to far the other way they will kick back. Which as been proved recently.

Had a quick read... typically BBC, typical EU.

I like the way it said that annexation would prove fatal for prospects of peace...

What prospects for peace? Israel destroyed and every Israeli driven into the sea... oh yes, those prospects for peace..

@TIMON well you don't have prospects if you say NO to everything. Representation and proportional go a long way. Obvs it's a position to say ' we don't need peace with THAT sort ' just as long as you don't mind yr grandchildren fighting wars you started. K

Thought this'd fit in well here!?

"Everyone's too sensitive these days" is literally code for 'I wish I could be racist, homophobic, ableist, sexist etc without getting called out for it.'

Look at you with an almost verbatim quote from the Antifa handbook:

  • "The only long-term solution to the fascist menace is to undermine its pillars of strength in society grounded not only in white supremacy but also in ableism, heteronormativity, patriarchy, nationalism, transphobia, class rule, and many others." — Mark Bray, "Antifa: The Anti-Fascist Handbook," 2017.
