I think the problem is that when an insulated panel is ignited you can not get water on the fire due to the metal covering.

A lump of coal doesn't have many air bubbles... According to your theory that means coal shouldn't burn....

There are 3 components needed for combustion .  Oxygen , fuel and ignition .  Coal wont burn if you stand there and look at it . Add the other 2 components and as you well know it will .  All 3 components were present at the towers .

Sorry, I don't want to come across as "intimidating". However I very much doubt the findings of this inquiry will be "kingspan has air bubbles in it"...

I'd imagine the inquiry will say something like "chimney effect" and "fire shielded by metal panels" and "mighty stupid to have flammable material bolted to buildings".

Well which news items do you think are interesting to the average Arbtalk user? The items of news that people discussed on my worksite have been the assorted terrorist attacks and the Grenfell fire. All stories with an obvious immigration angle.... There's obviously other news, however it's mostly a bit boring...

Anyway, I see in the Guardian that John Lewis' profits have dropped 53%! That should be good for a couple of pages of debate ;)

What did the fire in Grenfell Tower have to do with immigration?  I heard it was a fridge that started it (A white fridge).

Shut your Stella hole Bolam

Now this is why people (allegedly) aren't posting on the forum.

Mark's probably curled up in a corner, shaking and fighting the tears after you've intimidated him - shame on you.

Or he's pee'd himself laughing...

Sorry Mark. I'd truly love to discuss this with you. Unfortunately the Internet police have been warning me not to discuss racism/ immigration.

I don't want the guy below turning up at my front door....
