hi all, today filled the 20t with chain oil in the fuel tank and petrol in chain tank!!! started engine run for a bit then realised what we had done. fluched out both tanks and now engine running ok but with it seems with loss of power when cutting. any way to solve this or is the engine buggered ??:

hi spud, thanks for that, I will take your valued knowledge for it. however, why do you think it has lost that power, I'm sure its not my imagination, just would like to hear your comments,

The oil will have soaked in to the tank filter, it is possible that some is laying in the carb and its many cavities etc. The fuel will thin and dissolve the oil and it will be drawn through and burnt with normal use.

 

It is possible the oil may have got in to some of the jets and circuits in the carb and not allowing quite as much fuel mix to flow through but the fuel will thin it out and it will dissipate.
