Some bargains about.

As long as the hull is salvagable it would be worth having.

Quite true, at the current price. At worst I would expect overplating along the waterline to be needed and you couldn't get a hull, even a bad one, for that kind of price.

This should be interesting, may I come along and watch?

I was hauling a bit of beech out of the canal and an eytie chap demanded I stop as he had sole rights to work on trees in the canal.

Ah! you stumbled upon Mr Locatelli then :laugh1: Did you find a horses head in your bed the following day ?

No Vince and I came to an understanding about our thing, is he still alive? It was around 1989.

His son Robert runs the show now, they still " own" a few sections of the Wey and some canals :)

Just gone past my comfort zone and where I felt it being worthwhile

Possibly justabout worth that for the value of the scrap steel? Though the cost of raising it would demolish any return...

I doubt anyone would scrap it, I would guess someone who wants to keep it and feel confident the can raise it themselves, will buy it.

Hi,

I just wanted to let you know that the boat you bid on is now back up for sale as the winning bidder did not pay.

Feel free to take a look and ask any questions if you are still interested.
