Take a look at the ONS website. I think you will find you are wrong.

Taking on the biggest water company in the country ain't an easy task even with union backing. I did it a few years ago. Not something that I would relish now.

you wont be taking them on, the employment tribunal will.

If its a plc then there will be a union for sure. Join it and let them take care of it.

There is a difference between wages and earnings remember.

Join the union and let them take care of it! I nearly fell off the sofa:lol:..... I've been a union member for the best part of my life........ Not worth pissing on, most of em.

I know the difference between wages and earnings.

If you believe (or know better) please tell me all about it. Women get paid less than men, yes it's illegal but it still happens. Fact.

Stick-up as many links as you want, I could match you with statics that would suggest you are wrong.

You exercised notable restraint in that retort Mr Eggs!

Wow didnt expect it to get so serious a discussion but then again this is Arbtalk lol

Thanks for the advice guys.

I must say life seemed so much more simple when i was self employed!

Ites tempting to hire 2 crews a week say 2 days a week each and then do pricing on a Friday. have them self employed and cut out the aggro!

Think i'll stay out of the woman man wage difference argument. i agrees both sides to a degree.

cheers for the replys
