Conditional replacement.

Good evening.

I have been given provisional permission to fell some trees (poorly, overstood ash coppice) in a garden which is covered by a blanket TPO.

The TO wants to know what is being planted, and when.

We've already verbally agreed on a native hedge back on the boundary, which is about 20m long.

The customer is thinking 60cm hornbeam whips at 2/3 per metre, but I've advised planting no earlier than October.

Will this be acceptable to the TO?

Can't fell till replanting scheme is accepted.

Any thoughts welcome.

It all sounds fine to me. Next planting season will certainly be acceptable.

Perhaps include beating up along the lines of 'any whip failing to establish after two years will be replaced like for like in the next available planting season' ...just a thought
