Great for spreading jam on a lunch break or opening letters.

ALL folding saws should be banned, i have never nor will i ever use one, so much can go wrong and lead to missing digits

Got to admit I like the Natanoko its a good saw and the Gomtaro is a firm favorite but it has a habit of falling out of the sheath now and again, I think its all in the no of teeth really, my boss has a one for fruit trees it cuts like a dream very neat but to rip through conifers the Natanoko rules.

Hi Matt.

Who'd thunk there'd be so much chat about a Silky.

I've used Natanoko 2000 for donkeys - the curved bladed ones are good, however, watch out for curved scabbards which match the blade - they're a real pain if you're hanging upside down and fiddling for scabbard only to find you've tried to put it in the wrong way! Good luck. A

ZUBAT is hands down the best choice for a prunig say on the market today , IMHO.

As far as hand saws go for bigger limbs..., I'd go for the IBUKI! Its blad will fit either way in its scabor so no worries for you lefties out there.

Also, if you own a HAYAUCHI pole saw, you can swap blades with the IBUKI hand saw if the need arrises! :thumbup1:

Zubat.

My experience is that a curved blade puts less stress on a hand and arm because less downward pressure is required on the pull stroke.

I don't care for the nubbin on the end, but its no big deal, and could be ground off in a couple of moments if need be.
