I have recently brought the CS8002 to assist with some windblown oaks and it has plenty of power/torque. I intend to try some milling with it once I get organised. I chose the Echo as the CS2800 has been faultless throughout almost 13 years, I also treated myself to the CS390ESX to replace another saw GS455 which after 20yrs of good service needs a rest. The 390 is a great light weight saw:thumbup1:

I've got an 8002 - pics of it on here somewhere. Doesn't see a lot of use and not run in yet. Out of the box on a 28" it has enough bite in hardwood for sure.

When I picked it up from Radmores PDI collection point, the bloke handing it over said, "we'll see you again for any servicing and maintenance you might need." Glancing back at the saw he then said "Actually, no we won't, not with that saw; if it was a Husky that would be so but I reckon we'll never see that saw again".

Put it this way, everything is magnesium, you aint gonna break it even if you try. It is built like a boss. Has the extra oiler and it's all torque.
