Oak ID opinions?

Good evening

 

I've been offered this large oak trunk, about 60' long and 36" at the butt. It has a clear stem of 7m before any branches. I have about 10m of similar diameter turkey oak in my yard and I'm keen to avoid adding to my problems!

 

It does have a much narrower sap wood to my original turkey but the long clear stem is ringing alarm bells.

 

Anyone care to put their neck on the block so to speak?

That outer ring on the first image coupled with the straight trunk does look suspiciously like Turkey Oak. A close up of the bark would help

Here are a couple of pictures of the bark and the butt. I couldn't see any orange colouration in fissures but I'm going to assume its Turkey oak. The customer can pay for its haulage to my yard or she can keep it as a 60' lawn ornament.

Could still be robur. There's plenty like that out there. Sapwood looks normal to me .. What's with turkey oak anyway?
