Too late, mate, I am outta there.

Just hope they aren't waiting for me on my return. I would prefer to get caught with a Kilo of contraband than seen using a crab like that for rigging. ;0

The only real danger is when an agry groundy sends that lump if steel flying up at your face.

It's a good job the lads I work with are pretty chilled or I wouldn't be able to eat solids!

I have had mine a few years, but IIRC the MBS was not far off the 19mm Double Esterlon.

Only difference is I can still use the Grey Impact block as opposed to upgrading the hardware to suit 19mm.

You might even recognise the device at the bottom mate... haha.

Edit: Oops there is a crab on that bottom pic. Hope the rigging police don't spot it. ;)

IIRC, what's that ?

That's just a blue bag I'm carrying. It has stuff in it.

Yeah it was the cycles to failure I was referring to, not the MBS Rich. The elasticity of polydyne is what gives it the ability to absorb way more shock loads than the others. That blue rope I was using is 3/4 in. The red sling is 1 in, or 24 mm....both polydyne

Do you mean that it performs over and above a similar rope like Samson's Nystron? Is Polydyne 100% poly cover and 100% nylon core or has it been blended?

I do lots of dynamic rigging and went back to poly/poly double braid because the cycles to failure are so hard to understand and manage. We work the rope hard, like 5:1 safety factors and cut it up after 4 months or so.
