Best way to repair this?

Recommended Posts

Mate just brought over a 361 which had taken a bit of a drop. Big hole in the housing the air filter mounts on. He wonderd if I could fix it with some glass fibre and resin but before messing about with that thought would ask on here first.

If your diligent enough to get the shape right so the filter mates up then i dare say you could. If its taken a knock that " hard ! " to do the damage then personally I would be checking on the carb mounts and the general aria. The new filter mount might be the best way to go though.

£13.63 ex vat part number 1135 120 2700

Available from L s engineers online as radmores is a bit of a drive for you mate.

If your in no rush and want to get it thru radmores you most likely will still need to order it but I could prob pick it up as 5 mins down the road from me and i could post it or possibly get it on a works van to drop off to you.

Very kind of you but no need :thumbup1:

Passed the advice given here to my mate and left it at that. He is probably up that way from time to time anyway.
