Sorry Huck, sods law now says on monday the sole will fall off! the only real problem I had with the Haix was the hooks and the pro's seem to have sorted that.

I reckon your an airstream man in denial!

How I wish that was true!!

I really wanted them to be great, people seemed to rave about them, I have some Meindl walking boots, which are great. At first I thought the cold feet was me lacing them up too tight, but I have tried walking socks, loose laces, insoles etc, etc, but they are unfortunately crap

My lad loves his but says there bloody cold, I prefer a bit more ankle support hence a taller boot, I also hate having cold feet .

I find them hot in summer and ice cold in the winter. I only wear them because of comfort it feels like I'm wearing my old trainers have done for the past 4 years I do fancy a change from Mendel. Those yellow haix protector pro forest(?) look pretty decent and a few lads love them so I think I'll try those

I had the orange haix last (also now in black) They were comfy and lasted fairly well, but I found I needed to tighten the laces several times throughout the day, I would go back to the standard Protector Pro's given chance :thumbup1:
