Sorry for the confusion. I already have a tablet; waterproof xperia that I am happy with, though I need to get a proper surveying app at some point. I am using a free one at the moment which has been sufficient so far: Kobotoolbox.

I was just wondering if the toughbook with a full edition of windows might be useful for someone as it is quite cheap.

Why not get an iPad, put it in a lifeproof fre case which shock, dust, snow & waterproof & buy office 365?

I know that Island Lescure is looking for more than a tablet but... if you were to be looking for a rustproof, shockproof, snow proof, waterproof tablet then the Panasonic Toughpad has to be the one for the job. And what a wonderfully over the top promotional video they made: [ame]
