If the standard height works for you then I wouldn't advise lifting it personally. It will eat ujs and will not drive as well.

As for springs and shocks, I think they are all much the same. Decide if you want them firmer/softer etc and then get the best deal you can.

Have a look at your bushes too - wear in these can give the false impression of shock/spring issues.

I have standard heavy duty fronts with plus 2 inch heavy duty terrafirma on the rear. Keeps things level when heavily loaded. Also have a terrafirma extra hd anti rollbar which helps no end. Mine will carry 1.2 tonne of chip with high sides and not look overweight even though it is. Still handles well with a bit of roll if you were to drive with that kind of weight on the road.

You'll need to up-rate the rear anti roll bar if you go +2" as the standard LR one won't sit right. It's the front axle lift that causes the handling and majority of UJ issues (particularly if you stick with the original radius arms). Raising the rear and not the front shouldn't cause too many issues other than the anti roll bar, headlight levelling, and the appearance of driving around in a top fuel dragster when unloaded.

I have +2" on the rear and standard on the front of my 130 and never had to alter the anti roll bar, you may be close to having the shocks at maximum travel though.

If you can get away with standard do so, the ride empty with +2" HD terrafirma is horrendously hard.
