charging churches?

Noticed an increase in church properties asking for/requiring surveys, in recent years. they probably can't get insurance if they don't, for health and safety reasons. Just normal rates for any work, tendered for, often see some good veteran trees. They need to employ good tree surgeons and properly insured ones! Often working around very ancient buildings etc and don't want any damage, to property or trees.

Churches can't get insurance.... any claim would have to be due to an act of God! :laugh1:

We used to do the grass in a big churchyard in Derbyshire. Mowing, strimming and a bit of hedge work.

Didn't pay great but we got a fair bit of other work through it.

We used it to train the guys how to operate grass cutting equipment etc.., it came in handy for that and the people in the church were a really nice bunch. Once the guys had given it a couple of cuts they were very competent.

I mow a patch of grass for a church ⛪ local to me I put in the price of £35,00 per visit Reverend called me and asked if I had mad a mistake as the last guy charged £60,00 yes I said £35,00 great you got the job, now I have all the grounds to do at £80,00 per visit the way I look at it is they pay on time ⌚ usually within 5days I turn up when I want, and when I have quiet days a few hours there means I'm still earning, so by not being greedy I have gained a job 👌
