looking good, thought about the legs yet??

 

i cut some blocks for the legs, not sure wether to make some nice legs or just beval the edges and sink them into the bench, they wont be seen very well anyway,

 

av finsihed sanding it, av just put the first layer of oil on it

Nice one Phil - that's a lovely lump of oak with some great patterns :thumbup1:

 

cheers rob,my m8 had a couple of big lumps on the farm and he wanted them milled up( favour for a favour) after i had cut halfway thre, the pattern started coming out so i said i wanted a 5" slab for payment:thumbup::thumbup1:
