How do you like your woodland mill?

Recommended Posts

I had a look on the site but couldn't see - do you know if its 1 or 3 phrase for the electric?

Edit - ignore that. I found the info on the .EU site. 16amp single phase.

Both the electric and petrol versions are £2599 + vat @ 25% (Swedish sales tax) = £3248.75.

If you are VAT registered you can claim it back but as its from Europe I did read that this is not quite as easy, extra forms to fill in.

If you are a VAT registered firm in the UK then as Sweden are in the EU any Swedish VAT registered company should not charge you any VAT (zero rated supply). No forms, no complications, no VAT.

If you are not VAT registered in the UK then they must charge you their rate of tax (25%).

i would think a decent electric motor instead of engine would be cheaper to run, quieter, more reliable.

That's OK if you have a 3 phase supply on hand, a bit hard to find in most remote locations without faffing around with generators and inverters.

Are these woodland mills transportable or static once built up?

Now I'm getting big wood in,I can never find a miller interested so thinking I'll do it myself!
