Part numbers for 390xp?

Did getting it spuded make a big difference? A mate has a 372 that spud did and it's like a motor crosser, a right beast!!

 

Yep . All my saws are tweaked . Spud did my 346 along time ago , then my 372 and 390 . well worth doing . The old 385 was ported more aggressively as standard than the 390 that replaced it so it was apparent to me it needed it .

As I understand it, the 385 cylinder is better ported than the 390 one from the factory, so the 390 is in more need of porting. The 385 can gain a lot just from opening it on both ends (carb and muffler).
