Hi BEN them NAO I'm told are the 👍👍👍mate thanks Jon

I was just going to buy another tikka but read the reviews of the Nao online so decided to spend the extra... I use mine for running and the battery on full beam will only last about 2hrs but it is amazing. If I worked nights I would have a couple of spare power packs, if you don't use it on full power it can last ages and you can download ap app and programme it to how bright you want it. As torches go it is pretty cool...

I've just got the same ben and it's been fantastic the last few nights with highways call outs as when you turn and look at something reflective like the back of the truck it dims itself so you don't get dazzled by the reflection and the battery on smart mode seems to last an incredible amount of time and the little indicator on the back showing how much charge is left if very useful.

Hi JOHN that model now is been about two year when they first come out they was expensive like all things is dropped back a little bit good head torch thanks Jon

I got one from Cluson, led bulb you can see for miles, says it will do 18hrs on full beam, 24 on dipped.

Awesome bit of kit

Do you know what model that was pose Rod? I have been happy with stuff from Cluson in the past and good customer service too.

Fenix and nothing else. They have a UK site. They use special circuitry to amplify the voltage, thus, my head torch takes a single AA cell, but produces the same voltage as the ones with 3 AAA cells. Bloody good value, waterproof to two meters, three modes etc. I use energiser lithiums in mine, seems to run forever on a single battery. Just checked, I don't think they make my model anymore, but heres the latest version. They got a pile of incredibly powerful torches and headlamps that use exotic batteries as well....

I love my Petzl Myo XP and would buy another tomorrow if I needed one. Had it for several years. Runs on 3AA batteries I use rechargeable ones and always carry a spare fully charged set in the Land Rover. Battery life is 80 - 150 hours of use depending on the power level you use it at (choice of 3). Seems to be waterproof - coped with being out in torrential rain on Thursday night and last night.

New version available now which might be even better.

My Two pennyworth:

Ive an obsession with the things, or just the fact i live in the dark.:001_rolleyes:

I wore the a ledlenser H14 for 4 hours or so last night swapping over to generators up here.

But my favorite and bomproof ,chuck it about, is the Petzl Pixa 3 and you can clip it onto the Vertex helmets with a plate, really rate it.(But our kid had nicked it..):001_rolleyes: (H14 brighter though but just doesn't feel as tough as the petzl)

The Petzl Myo is also very good and lives in my hillwalking bag, really lightweight.

My next purchase is the Led Lenser XEO19R :thumbup1: (shes been asking questions though..as to why ive 5 headtorches..?):blushing::blushing:

and finally if anyones after one of the best 240V worklights on the planet check this out:https://www.festool.co.uk/Products/Pages/Product-Detail.aspx?pid=769965&name=DUO-working-light-DUO-Plus-GB-240V had one last night ! Truly outstanding bit of kit but at a price!:001_rolleyes:
