In my 41 years on this earth I have seen many days of wind and rain , Many of which I thought were terrible,

But that year I stayed on benbecula showed me what proper wind and rain was,

Wind so bad you had to open car door using both hands to hold on,

Rain there was the only type I know that hurt when I hit you.

Had to give up on a line of 60ft edge Sitka this afternoon as the wind built. Tops were fairly dancing and the wind against fell direction with an expensive fence behind. Ho hum. Wet and wild now and expecting a soaking in the morning. Connie bashing too. Morale will not be high ;-)
