Looks like a sturdy piece of kit. Think I'd be using a piece of timber to push the stuff through, though. I'll keep a look out....

 

In the meantime, I'll also have a look for a source of timber off-cuts. I do like RenewableJohn's Aldi, idea, though, which I'll be investigating, too.

The machine pictured works with knotty wood very well but Iv never seen another made by the same company

 

Can we play snap although mine is in oily black. Do you have the covers for the blades as mine are missing and I was looking for a mould to make some new castings.

We had the same machine driven by a 3 phase motor it looked like it had the ability to cut the fingers off both hands at the same time. I never bothered and sold it on to some one less cowardly than me.
