M&S Transit Tyres

I know that mud and snow tyres will give a little extra grip to the transit on grass but how much damage could I expect to cause to a lawn? Obviously I don't want to damage clients lawns but is it better than slipping and leaving marks or dragging and walking x hundred times on the lawn?
