Used one on a ford 1910 compact tractor on the estate where I was working. Not great results. Very dependent on perfectly smooth ground. Every hollow or lump in ground was amplified by length of arm especially on balloon turf saver tyres. Clean cutting edge though I'd have to go over it twice as some light twigs would be brushed flat and then spring back again afterwards.

Ended up using stihl hs85 for faster better cutting.

Gimmick rather than time saver

I'm scoping a small forestry flail and a finger bar for avant/multione at the moment but hyd rather than PTO drive. Will post up any good contenders I come across. These are pretty awesome but a bit too niche to warrant the purchase price for the time being! http://www.mcconnel.com/remote-control-technology/_product/20/robocut/

I use a Slanetrac 180 finger bar on the bobcat Skidsteer, it's grand on beech avenues and the like, but still needs 2 runs to get a reasonable finish, but it is fast . Great for getting hedges back in order, a quick run of a lad with a pole cutter to tidy up for a fine finish,
