Botex 8 Tonne timber trailer and crane. Good price?

As per the title, I'm looking at possibly buying a 2-3 year old Botex 8 tonne trailer with crane. Has barely been used and is spot on, only a couple of jobs. Seller bought it for about £12-£13000 + VAT. He is looking for about £10k...

Seems a bit steep to me considering depreciation maybe...what do you guys think? I would be looking more in the region of £8k maybe?

Cheers

Sounds about right really. Forestry kit tends to hold its value and Botex stuff particularly. Is it a 560 crane on an 8 tonne euro trailer or a 300 series crane on a eco or Farma trailer?

If you want a Botex then its a good deal if you want cheap raw lifting power. Given the current pound euro exchange rate there are some very good deals on European made kit. You could be getting a new 7T trailer with 5.6m and crane for 10K or 12t 6m machine for 24k with driven wheels.
