Reducing and Indian bean tree?

Customer has asked for a reduction and your talking about pollarding !! What ?

 

 

Yeah as Mick said afterwards it would be a pointless exercise given the amount I could take off. I just needed to know what my options where when it came to it. And what advice I could give to my client.

I cut one only about 3" diameter stem to the ground, as customer said it was too close to another tree. It put on about 6ft the year after. Maybe a mature specimen wouldn't have so much go in it.

 

 

Wow I had no idea they were so resilient, sound like the fight a willow would but up.
