Sharpening your own chipper blades

That just looks like a bench grinder?

 

You then get a jig to hold the blades, the wheel continously runs in water to keep it cool.

 

Im still sat on then fence yet. Going to have to order a new set of blades for next week as i havent had others sharpened yet :blushing:

Everyone should have at least 1 spare set. Blunt blades do the machine no good and put stress on bearings. For such an expensive bit of kit they are cheap things to buy but have a massive impact on reliability of a machine. There is no excuse for blunt blades;)
