need a job

hi i have just qualified from Cannington college and am 29 and based in highbridge (somerset),I am still stuck working in a warehouse at the moment :-( is there anyone out there that could give me a day or two work, i am available sat, tues and weds, I am unfortunately reliant on buses/trains at the moment but am willing to travel to where ever i can. i really want some experience in the trade so any help would be appreciated, thanks, Jay

Jay, no driving license??? You'll struggle if you cant drive or don't have transport... also, if it's drink driving or motoring conviction related alot of companies wont touch you.

 

Anyways, good luck etc but this thread should be in the employment forum mate... there's more chance of somebody with work available looking at it there and anybody with odd days available will post to that forum also.

im sure you will get a job jay , the driving bit may hold you back but im sure if you are a good climber and willing to work hard without doing anything daft on your weeks trial you will be snapped up . im still looking for a college leaver to come and work for me but down in cornwall they are hard to come by !!!!!!

I appreciate your obviously all friends, BUT a well though out correctly punctuated and non text speak post is far more likely to get some response.

 

How about starting a new thread entitiled 'Enthusiastic Beginner seeks work experience in Somerset' ?

 

Look through the Yellow Pages and write to every tree surgeon in the area. Good luck with your hunt.
