I take your point entirely. I make every effort not to vape near anyone, I find the fact that I am vaping a bit embarrassing anyway, so hide it at all times possible. If I had to be near a vaper or smoker I'd choose the former I think.

If find gayping as they put it round here embarrassing it's more like the must have fashion accessory. All the poncy flavours it's just swapping one addiction for another. Each to there own

If "gayping" lessens the risk of lung cancer and other smoking related diseases, I'll happily be a "gayper" mate.

Well messed up at the start of the month but managed 8 days so far with out a ciggy , mostly due to ill health and a course of antibiotics was a good start ... had the real test yesterday though and had a few beers with Bolam then stopped for a few more on the way home and managed to not cave in whilst people went out side for a smoke, still a long way to go!!

Well - to my astonishment I did it.

Although, after only 4 weeks the mental side is not out of my system so it's just a case of sticking with at it but it is also a lot easier now - I can go hours where it isn't on my mind and the cravings are only a few minutes long.

There's no denying that was very very difficult. The first week or so is just a stress blur. It's like it wasn't me.

Yes I miss it, but it's easing and I feel a lot happier about myself. I have saved c. £280.

I hope others have had a good outcome for them.

How's it going? Are you still off them?

Still gayping here, not ideal but a whole lot better than smoking I think, although every hardened smoker tells me " oh that vayping is not good for you"😆

Keep it up lads👍

Still gayping here. I can leave it until I have a beer. Puffing more than Graham Norton once I've cracked a can.

Still off them - saved a fortune. Went the cold turkey route because I didn't want to sidestep the addiction without addressing it once and for all.

Have some hard days, but not going back onto them. Everyone I know who went onto vaping sticks to get off the fags still has a fag as well - everyone. The absence of relying on nicotine in my life is what's improved things as much as the heath and financial benefits. Yep I do feel a 'free'.

Vaping is still better than full on smoking. But if you can go that far come the rest of the way.
