Brushcutters ?? recomdations please

I got mine from the uk but the first one i had came from italy.I think its lansdown engineering or similar are the importers. Been trying to dig the invoice out.

 

The original chains shouldnt shatter as they are mild steel not hardened. Mine have bent into ovals :) Thats after 2 summers of approx 15 hours a week strimming on 'social housing' sites. Bottles, metal, bricks, pallets - nothing seems to stop it!!!

 

As far as leg protection - i haev some kevlar shin pads used by riot police. They come above the knee. A bit like cricket pads but not weigt in them at all
