River bank round post piles Norfolk

Can anyone tell me where I can source river bank round post piles in Norfolk, UK.

I have been told that either Alder, Sweet Chestnut, Oak, Cedar or Yew is good for the purpose but cant find any in Norfolk UK.

I require x140+ rounded or pealed poles, pointed end, up to 100mm Dia. at the top end, approx. 10ft long.

I need them between now and March 2016.

Alder is the best choice for timber that is going to be submerged.

Thank you for the confirmation re Alder.

However the top two+ feet will be above mean water level.

I was planning on burning the ends of each pole above water level, top 2+ feet, or applying one of those shrink wrap bandages to reduce the rot above water.

After using a petrol powered driver I am planning to cut the tops at 45 degrees.

Amy suggestions will be of help, particularly where to source these poles. Other people on the riverbank have the same problem.

Would kent be too far? How quickly do you need them? Re the alder im guessing if they are peeled you want them asap and whats minimum top dia? can do alder or chestnut
