Need a wood Processor for a weekend

Recommended Posts

We are looking to have a large Ash tree cut down this winter and I would like to hire a wood processor and possibly an operator to cut and split the wood. Does anyone hire a small processor in the south of Kent (Charing) area?

If it is a large ash tree, it isn't going to go through a processor. Better off ringing it up and splitting on a log splitter or with a decent axe.

Hi all....just wondering as to what you would charge for processor and operator hire?! Man is supplying tractor and forklift so that doesn't need to be included! I am estimating around £25 per hour....what do yous think?! Any advice will be greatly appreciated

For the odd tree on site we take a saw and 10 tonne hydraulic splitter. Too far away but you should be able to find someone local. Processors are best on dead straight stuff 8-14 inches
