Did a quick search for firewood processing in Somerset. Third one down is this thread.

Not on my search but think you get different results depending on previous search history..

To be fair at the moment what with fishing taking priority when the tides and weather are good, and fitting in everything else around it, got too much on, just sold a great splitter to Tree Man Tom, he could be up for it, i think we all charge about the same money apart from me , i'm quite expensive, and i don't mind saying so, i have to find the money for me boats and mooring fees some how, i do the £25 per hour, but that first hour is £80, and i charge £1 per mile one way, most splitting jobs i can bang out in 1 to 2 hours so the profit is good, all plus vat. :thumbup1:

I'm off to Cornwall in 2 weeks time but wife won't let me do a detour

It's my Mrs that's against me working up there for 3-4 days.

How quickly do you need them done, got a farmi wp36 on order which should be ready in the next couple of weeks, I could do work in Frome for about £280 a day plus vat, cheers
