I know who long it takes on a domestic site using my auger or spoons but have a site to quote for and can use a digger and auger

How many panels could be done in one day it's 6ftx6ftft close board panels concrete slotted posts and gravel and 1ft trellis how many realistic can be done in one day its 441 meters about 242 sections and can drive all materials to the hole :)

You on your own, lugging all the gear to site, erecting the fence I,d say 15-20 panels aday, if its an 8 hour day.

wow you must have a strong back most i have ever done is 11 but driving to the hole so less carrying maybe your right

but i would have 2 at least on a job that big save your back !!!!! those gravel boards can be heavy !

i would look at 30-40 with 2

but problem your getting in to now is the weight issue for your vehicle

31 post and 30 bases is alot even 21 posts and 20 bases would be far too much for the vehicles i own

Sorry for adding to this old thread but I have a question for guys that do fencing.

I have just started doing fencing as well as tree work.

I price £150 per section of 6x6 panel 9'post and gravel board. Is this a fair price. I would appreciate any feed back.

if you can get that then great !

there are too many variable is it a just putting a fence up? or do you have to remove a old one ? are you removing an old hedge ?

if it is just putting up fencing for 1 -3 panels that price is fine but trying that price out at 10- 20 panels will be pretty expensive for say wane lap fencing

when materials cost 60-70 quid per panel ( depending on choice of panel)charging £1500 for 10 panels that I would do in a day on my own would mean i took £ 800 quid home for a days work is a bit steep but most of the time you don't just put the fence up ! too many variables
