Arborcom from Talking Headsets - Product Review

Recommended Posts

i would be very interested in doing a review

had a go for a day and found them good but fixings were poor on muffs which spoilt them a little bit

and as they are expensive i would like to have a proper go or see decent feedback

Many thanks to all who responded.

Bob has kindly agreed to conduct the review for us. Hopefully, depending how quickly the supplier can get the kit to him, we will be able to get his thoughts and opinions into the October issue of eA.

Once again many thanks, and watch this space for further requests for help!

I tried this product at Jonesies show, and was totally impressed. Josharb went over to Rob Dyers stand and "borrowed" a 50ish cc saw and revved it flat out, and we continue chatting as if we were standing beside one another. The noise cancelling is superb. The only fly iin the ointment is the current trend for climbers to wear ear plugs instead of ear defenders, rendering the defender mounted system useless. Personally I would love to use these to improve communications in many aspects of tree work, from forestry, woodland, crane, and rigging jobs, just have to justify the price tag to myself.

you think to hard about this kind of stuff andy, just buy them mate, you wont look back. if you are working with steve and his ear plugs then it doent matter because you dont need to telll him anything, he knows what he is doing. but if you ever have any newbies on site or machine men, then put it in your RA that they need to wear them or walk:thumbup1:
