What are the teeth like, are they effective?

 

 

Yup grinds really well when they are new/sharp noticeable difference when they are dull though. Invest in a battery angle grider and diamond disc to keep them in reasonable condition

can you provide a link to the sort of disk i should get?

None that I've found but haven't looked too hard, the green teeth ones look like they might but haven't got the measurements to check. I recently enquired with multitip about converting as takes ages to change the teeth but comes in at about £400 plus vat so not a goer!

Depends if your going to keep the machine? See if you can order one minus all teeth and wheel and put the money towards a multi tip wheel.
