Hey all,

After looking on ebay for the best part of a year for a Jo Beau M300 I finally gave up and today sent payment for a new machine. ( massive thanks to Dean at Global ...... it was great to deal with you. I fully recommend these guys and their great service )

Tonight I get home and check ebay........ guess what ....... there is an M300 on there !!! Talk about timing :001_rolleyes:

I think the guy must have done some performance engine mods though as it says it will chip between 80mm and 300mm !!!

Its near Manchester I believe in case anyone else is interested.

Can't wait to get my one on Friday.

Do they issue WCC membership cards yet ? :001_tt2:

Andy.

Thanks Andy, to make you feel better the machine on eBay is not legal as it has no hopper pan + yours is full of extras😃

What would you like to see? Factory tour on soon! Dates to come tomorrow.....

Pete it could be a new rotatable (is that a word?) chute much like the yellow one in thread, perhaps more like an arborist 150 type it could still clip into the original mounting points of the main chute.

I am happy to trial one for you seeing as it was my idea!

I'll put it to the developers. But as the original is perfectly adequate with its three position chute, I doubt it would be worth doing the mods and the subsequent increase in costs/benefit....

Going from square to round isn't easily kept smooth and so on....

Thats true, mine is certainly "Fully loaded"

The only thing I could possibly add to it now is spinning hubcaps !

Pimp my chipper ?

It is adequate but this would make it better, have the chipper in a road tow trailer and it is a right pain in the arse to detach chipper push it back and forth to adjust direction of chip trajectory.

I would pay, as an aftermarket mod.

Again Pete, it's a bug bear, I'd love to have a 180 rotate on it, you can get them into tight spots, it's not always ideal to chip at right angles.

the other mod I'd make would be to swap the stupid black knows for a bikestyle quick wheel release type lever.

Those quick releases might work! Buy a pair, make your own skewer rod to length and try it! We are too busy to take on more development jobs tbh, even supposedly small ones. Come on the factory tour in April to see it in flow!
