In ideal world yes, but these shows probably cost a lot to put on and the organisers have to recoup that, if it's wet and the fields get trashed small events / shows can quickly lose a huge amount reinstating them. It's really none of our business tbh, ( not having a go at you Jon )

Hi Jon as you NO Michael evis gives out all most free pitch to local schools and charities at Glastonbury festival site so why can't the AA GIVE A FREE STAND THANKS John

I see your point mate but it is what it is, they obviously have their reasons, not saying they are right but it's their circus, their monkeys.

Hi Jon I see your point to mate BUT I think and I no other to think you have to put some think back in live like giving a free stand to well established forums and charities there is other large organisations are much larger than the AA and it worked very well thanks John

Hi Jon, I suppose it comes down to wether they can afford to or not.

I was thinking of looking into a pitch for our lot (BetelUK) next year.

We have a cafe and music stage at a big Christian festival in Lincoln (The One Event) but we have to pay for that and it is expensive. Concessionary rates would be good.

ARBTALK should certainly get a free pitch on the strength of Steve's contribution to the industry IMO.

Hi Jon,

I cant see why they shouldnt provide a few free pitches.

Unfortunately the organisers interest (AA?) is probably just financial & wont see the charitable side of it & arborists are just a part of the wide diversity of participants.

Good luck trying though
